The Inspector General of Punjab Police is proud to announce a groundbreaking sports initiative aimed at reviving Pakistan’s sporting glory! This exciting program focuses on nurturing talent in four key areas: Hockey, Chess, Carrom, and Rubik’s Cube.
The initiative boasts a prestigious collaboration with the renowned Khawaja Junaid Academy, known for its expertise in developing exceptional Hockey Players. DIG Mehboob Aslam Lilla, Commandant PTC Chung, will serve as the esteemed host for this program.
Hockey, Pakistan’s national sport, takes center stage. Talented young players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills through rigorous tryouts. Only the top 40 players will be selected to embark on a transformative journey. These lucky individuals will receive comprehensive coaching under the watchful eye of the Khawaja Junaid Academy’s experienced trainers.
But that’s not all! To ensure their complete focus on honing their skills, the program will provide free meals and accommodation to the selected hockey players.
This initiative promises to be a game-changer, igniting a passion for sports among Pakistan’s youth. We invite all aspiring athletes, chess enthusiasts, carrom champions, and Rubik’s cube masters to actively participate and be a part of this historic endeavor. Stay tuned for further announcements regarding registration and selection procedures. Let the games begin!
